The Scrumptious Johnsons! Now, With MORE Scrumptiousness!
Oh boy, people. It's not often you get to meet someone you already love to pieces for the first time, but that's exactly what happened last night when Los Angeles was graced with an appearance by international super-genius Nathan Johnson, in town for one night only. When you combine something that delicious with a performance of special birthday magnificence from the absolutely freaking awesome Jon Brion at Largo, that ended with the audience belting out the entirity of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody at Mr. Brion's request, I really can't think how it really gets much better than that.
(For any of my Los Angeles compatriots who haven't seen that shit, it's rocking with, as Mr. Brion put it, "holy hardness" every Friday night, and you are NUTS not to get right down there.)
The verdict on Nathan Johnson? Hott! These two scrumptious Johnsons together? Nuclear weapons grade hott!

As the only question proffered was mine I shall address your querry.
No, it was not rhetorical. When someone promises me pictures of scrumptious Johnsons, I want to see scrumptious Johnsons. I am sure that the guys pictured are fine lads, but Johnsons are what was promised and Johnsons are what was expected. Seeing as how Crayzee Baybee has just returned from Praha, the absolute center of the universe for scrumptious Johnsons per my working friends in The Valley, I find the current confusion...confusing.

Red alert, I've just received word that Rian and I will be in the studio until late Thursday night working on the final print of Brick.
Perhaps some sort of meet-up will still be in order. I trust you and Rian are in contact, but thought I'd post up here just in case that isn't, well, the case.

Red alert! I may have to attend a nighttime performance in honor of the Christmas season at my son's school that could run into prime meet-up time tomorrow night... Later meet ups may be best.
I'm having crew over to mine on Friday, as well, but Rian has said that he, at least, is tied up on Friday night, to my HUGE disappointment, because, without Rian, it's hard to get the party started... He says he has something with his mom. I dunno, CHRISTMAS, or something. WHATEVER! I don't know what your plans are for Friday, but you are SO INVITED.
Whatever happens, I would dearly love to be lucky enough to see you again soon, dear Nathan.
